The project

MAR Contracting is the appointed contractor for the marine design and construction works for the Container Terminal at the Port of Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo, for AD Ports Group with Dar Al-Handasah as consultant. The project includes a 425 m quay wall, anchor piles, a Ship-to-Shore (STS) crane rail beam and associated tie-ins with the adjacent revetments along the boundary of the reclaimed area. The works form a key component of a robust, efficient and purpose-built container terminal facility designed to meet international standards and operational benchmarks. MAR Contracting is responsible for the specialist marine and structural works required to support the terminal’s long-term operational performance.
